The Scene

With his moustache, Parrish is constantly reminded how much he looks like another great guitartist--Sean Penn's temperamental savante in "Sweet and Lowdown." One thing's for sure: Parrish has stage presence. He works a stage like worn-in leather, with tough, no-frills blues that edges into honky-tonk. His band has a loose, professional sound that puts out just about all you could want from a bar band: loud, rockin' blues.
